I was visiting from Canada to help celebrate my sister’s 80th birthday and needed to travel from London to Canterbury the next day to visit her and return about four hours later.
My cousin who lives here pointed out the risks of this plan. I can easily get a car in London to go to Canterbury…not so easy to get a car in the other direction. In both cases the trip back to the starting point would not produce revenue. She suggested I book both legs of the journey at the same time.
